second-hand books

Strangely, I don't normally buy them (and that isn't implying I get them by other, more devious means). But today I have - 3 of them.

REO White - A Guide To Pastoral Care
D Bonhoeffer - The Cost Of Discipleship
D Bonhoeffer - Creation and Temptation (nb: that link is to a book that only contains the first half of the book I bought)

I'll need to be careful it doesn't become a habit.

Don't you just love second hand books?

I'm not making this bit up: second hand bookshops play a large role in my dreams. Sometimes later in the day I remember a dream and realise, they were there in the background; sometimes I'm looking for that elusive perfect second-hand bookshop; and other times the dream is in the shop. I once had a dream where I was browsing through this shop, and passed between two shelves and emerged into the outdoors: it was late evening and in the fading light I realised I was by the great wall of china. But get this: the great wall was MADE of bookshelves!!!
Best dream ever.

I gotta ask this: are you an alien of some sort? I mean the stuff that goes through your mind is just...mind you, Anna's dreams are just as whacky. A wife and a pal who both dream utterly surreal stuff - no wonder I'm the man I am.
